Background
Jim is a native Idahoan; but attended engineering college in Santa Barbara.
While raising his family first in California and later in Idaho, he coached
youth soccer and served on the administrative board for that sport. He has
also given countless hours to grade school children, helping them with
projects they build with their own hands.

instrumentation and graphics hard-copy display products.
• 5 years engineering management of computer analysis and
design systems and test development.

LaserJet Products.
• Senior Product Quality Engineer and Senior Materials

• 8 years residential construction contractor. Working with
both
state and county inspectors provided much insight
valuable to the tasks of home inspection.
• 3 years teaching building classes at the Woodcraft Store in
Boise, Idaho.

common hand tools, such as hand saws, drills, etc.

Graduate of ITA Home Inspection School, the premier training facility for
professional home inspectors throughout the United States.
Passed the NHIE (National Home Inspector Examination) administered by the
Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors. (This is the most
rigorous exam in the nation, typically required by those states offering
licensing.)
